A remote area on the western
side of Isla Margarita accessible by a small bridge very near the
Laguna La
Restinga, a mangrove lagoon where
you can take a boat tour.
We have assembled a series of photos to show you what this area is like. There
is very little development mainly due to lack of water and other essential
services, however, in recent years beaches such as Punta Arenas have opened some
restaurants and beach services. There are also hidden treasures like horseback
riding.
